Nass Corporation yesterday announced a net profit of BD5.416 million ($14.37m) for the half year ending June 30 this year, up from BD4.297m for the same period last year.

Nass Corporation deputy chairman and managing director Samir Nass said the company achieved a gross turnover of BD49.445m for the same period this year, as against BD36.971m for same period last year.

"The improved performance represented an increase of 34 per cent in the half yearly turnover and increase of 26pc in the half yearly net profit," he said.
