Nass Corporation posted a net profit of BD7.706 million ($20.4m) for the first nine months this year, up from BD6.266m for the same period last year.

Announcing the results yesterday, Nass Corporation chairman Abdulla Ahmed Nass said that the company achieved a gross turnover of BD79.104m for the nine months ended on September 30 compared to BD55.739m for same period last year.

He said the improved performance represented an increase of 42 per cent in the nine months turnover and increase of 23pc in the nine months profit.
