The first priority of Central Garage is that of service provider to Nass Contracting.
The division operates and maintains a fleet of specialised equipment which is tailored to the construction industry in all aspects. Major repairs and servicing are carried out in the workshop which is located in Sitra. Central Garage employs on average 120 personnel, these consist of administration and tradesmen. We operate a stores facility which provides our daily stock items in order to fully maintain our fleet equipment.
The different types of machines consist of, Excavators, both wheeled and tracked. Front end loading shovels of varying sizes and configurations, Rigid tipping trucks, water tankers. etc. Many other types of machines and equipment are utilised on a daily basis and some specialised machines are provided for particular project operations.
The maintenance facilities operated by Central Garage include mechanical, electrical, welding and fabrication work and bodyshop facilities. All of these services are utilised on a daily basis to assist Nass Contracting.
In total Central Garage operates approximately 250 pieces of vehicles and equipment in servicing Nass Contracting. To move large equipment, we employ two low bed trailers of 35 & 60 ton capacity. We also operate 40 feet flat bed trailers to carry required materials for projects. Site allocated equipment is serviced by mobile units which are self contained to carry out daily and routine servicing.
Central Garage has recently installed an integrated computer system to better provide both reporting proceedures and to increase efficiency in invoicing and billing. This system is proving to be very erffective in the daily working of Central Garage.
