Nass Sand Processing Plant was formed in 1977 to supply washed building sand to Bahrain's construction industry.
The first such plant to be established on the island, Nass Sand is now the country's largest supplier with a production capacity of over 3,000 tonnes daily.
The company has two sand processing plant - Plant num. 1 with a capacity of 1,500 tonnes per day and the newly commissioned plant in 2008 with a capacity of 2,000 tonnes per day.
