Established in 1985, Shahnaz specializes in marine engineering and maintenance, with activities including ship repair, steel fabrication and pipe fitting.
The company employees a workforce of over 200, including coded welders certified to ABS standards, platers and fabricators, mechanics, electricians, pipe fitters and cleaners. Shahnaz has successfully handled repairs for ships of all sizes, ranging from tugboats, supply vessels and barges up to supertankers of over 500,000 tonnes. It has also fabricated a variety of structures includiing ramps and decks.
Operating in both Bahrain and Kuwait, the Company provides its services to a large number of local, regional and international clients. It is also responsible for repairing and maintaining the fleets owned and operated by companies of the Nass Group, including Bahrain Bulk Handling, Bahrain Bulk Trade, Tech Dive and Gulf Corp.
In addition, Shahnaz has been appointed as a contractor by ASRY (Arab Ship Repair Yard) in Bahrain and KSRC (Kuwait Ship Repair Company) in Kuwait.
