Established as a joint venture with the US-based Shaw Group in 1994, Shaw-Nass Middle East was the first company to provide a regional source of prefabricated piping systems for industries throughout the Middle East.
The Company manufacturers high-integrity piping assemblies in carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy materials for use in refineries, petrochemical, chemical and gas processing plants, offshore production facilities, desalination plants and power stations.
Shaw-Nass utilizes state-of-the-art welding, bending and heat treatment technologies with staff supported by computerised communications systems that fully integrate continously tracking and reporting the status of all spools. Bar code technology is used from receipt of construction drawings to the shipment of spools to clients' sites.
A commitment to quality, in line with ISO standards, had enabled Shaw-Nass to achieve accrediation as a qualified facillity for ASME pressure vessels and power piping.
The company has grown and expanded with both staff and production capacity having more than trebled since 1994. Spools are now exported throughout the Middle East and as far as Taiwan.
Internationally renowed clients include Bechtel, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Asea Brown Boveri.
Major projects in which Shaw-Nass has been involved include power plants in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India and Pakistan, Petrochemical plant in Kuwait and other major projects in UK, Vietnam and Taiwan.
