Established in 1984, this division of Nass the Group, provides clients throughout the Middle East and Africa with a wide range of specialized sub-sea services.
These include CCTV, video and photographic hull inspections on vessels ranging from tugs to super-tankers, inspections and maintenance on bridges and jetties, ultrasonic checks on steel hulls and piles, underwater arc welding and oxy-arc/thermic cutting, dredging, pipeline inspections, cable laying, salvage and wreck removal.
Tech Dive is approved by major classification societies such as Lloyds Register of Shipping, Bureau Veritas and Det Norske Veritas and has developed an international reputation for the quality of its work. With a team of experienced and qualified divers, the company has undertaken a wide range of projects in Bahrain and the Gulf region, the Red Sea, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zanzibar and Madagascar.
These have involved work on large tankers, cargo ships, dredgers, and barges, pipelines, power cables, dams, jetties, drydocks and bridges. Recent projects in Bahrain include inspections of steel structural piles for the marine jetty at GPIC’s new urea plant, inspections and renewal of impressed cathodic protection for Mina Sulman Port, and inspection and repair of a sub-sea gas pipeline for GPIC.
