Description of the Project:
The site is located at Bahrain Bay District Centre Lots A.01, A.02, A.03 and A.04 Manama, Bahrain and takes the form of a reclaimed island. The site shall be developed to provide space for circa 450,000 sq.m of mixed-use retail and residential areas. The project comprises 2 levels of basement carparking and different buildings ranging from 7-storey to 42-storey high. The contractor will be responsible for undertaking the works in two sections i.e. 1) the substructure works under Manama High Street and; 2) excavation works, pile caps and basement raft slabs on both the south and north of Manama High Street.
Key Construction Elements:
Work under this contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:
- Excavation;
- Dewatering;
- Temporary services for construction;
- Concrete works
- Coordination with piling contractors for pile trimming works and pile integrity test to be done by the piling contractor;
- Providing and installing contiguous piles with ground anchors/propping system, earthing and other MEP works.
