The project was awarded to the Joint Venture comprising of Nass Contracting and Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co.
The scope of works comprises of the following:
Canal excavation approx. 125,000m3;
Rock revetment works ±480,000MT;
Quay wall construction (incl. precast yard establishment and block casting);
Marine works (Toe bund rockworks required for the formation of 3 x beaches);
Cast insitu Crown /Wave Wall construction.
